At Souvant, we believe knowing what goes into your wax melts matters. Every ingredient we use is carefully chosen to deliver outstanding performance, a long-lasting scent throw, and a safe, enjoyable home fragrance experience.
Our Wax
Our Wax Blend: Performance Meets Care
After more than a year of testing countless waxes and blends, we finally developed a custom formula that delivers everything we look for in a wax melt: rapeseed, coconut, and high-grade paraffin. This unique blend was chosen because it offers:
- Exceptional scent throw that fills your space beautifully
- Reliable performance in all temperatures and seasons
- Long-lasting fragrance with excellent melt consistency
We are committed to continuous improvement. Our team is always researching and testing new waxes to enhance both performance and sustainability. This includes trials with soy wax and soy wax blends—but after extensive evaluation, we’ve found they do not yet meet our high standards for scent throw, consistency, and longevity.
While our current formula provides the best balance for our customers, it may evolve over time as new, more effective options become available.

Fragrance Oils
Fragrance Oils Designed for Home Fragrance
The fragrance oils we use are premium quality and specifically designed for home fragrance. Each oil is:
- IFRA-compliant (International Fragrance Association)
- Vegan-friendly and cruelty-free
- Many are phthalate-free and paraben-free (see individual product pages for details)
Fragrance oils are sometimes unfairly criticised online and in the media simply because they are considered “unnatural.” In reality, much of this information is misleading or based on myths about their safety and eco-friendliness. High-quality fragrance oils, when properly formulated and regulated, are safe, sustainable, and offer a far more consistent performance than many natural alternatives.
We choose fragrance oils over pure essential oils because they provide a stronger, longer-lasting scent and greater stability in wax. Many of our fragrances are designed in the UK and France and are sourced from ethical, reputable suppliers.

Tested in all seasons
Our products are rigorously tested throughout all four seasons to ensure they perform consistently in real homes. From the height of summer, where higher temperatures and increased airflow can affect scent throw, to the coldest days of winter, when heat distribution is different, we carefully assess how each product behaves. By testing across a full range of conditions and room sizes, we make sure our fragrances remain long-lasting, balanced, and true to scent no matter the time of year.
